At G and T Pointing and Restoration, we take pride in preserving the character and integrity of historic and traditional buildings.

Specialising in traditional lime pointing; our mission is to ensure that aged, listed and graded properties are maintained with care, skill and the authenticity they deserve.

Based in Tameside, Greater Manchester, and also serving Yorkshire. We bring years of experience in pointing and restoring heritage stonework, many of which were gained working on the historic properties with the UNESCO World Heritage site of Saltaire.

Unlike modern methods, lime pointing allows buildings to breathe, protecting them from long-term damage and ensuring their beauty lasts for generations to come.​

Stalybridge Civic Hall
Here you can see the beautiful Grade Two listed Stalybridge Civic Hall.
using only a traditional Lime mortar we had the pleasure of repointing this monumental building.
18th Century Cottage
This is a great example of traditional lime work that the team completed in the Tameside area.
